There is no shortage of stunning scenery here, you’ll escape the hustle-and-bustle of mainland city life and enjoy the finest gourmet experiences imaginable. Some of Australia’s finest whiskies, craft beers and ciders, cool-climate wines and artisanal cheeses are at your fingertips.
One of the most common things we hear from visitors is that Tasmania feels more like Europe than mainland Australia; so it’s really no surprise why it has been called the Switzerland of the South for nearly a century.

Unique wedding venues are in abundance here, and we certainly wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to extend your visit to include your honeymoon! Stay a while and tour our many vineyards and historic townships, majestic Kunanyi (Mt Wellington), the ever-eccentric and provocative MONA or take a trip out to Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair - the list is (almost) endless.
